Sidekick Loyalty Bonus

This offer is only for customers with an Easy Access account where the bonus period has ended. Having the code alone doesn’t make you eligible if you don’t meet this criteria. We may deactivate the code at any time, including if we reasonably believe it’s being used in a way it wasn’t intended for.

You qualify for this offer by meeting the qualifying deposit definition set out in the Glossary above, made during the Promotion Period. Your Qualifying Date is the date of your first qualifying deposit; this is what starts your Bonus Rate Period below, where one applies.

If you qualify, we’ll pay you an extra 0.2% AER variable on your qualifying balance, on top of the standard variable rate for your product. It accrues daily on the previous day’s closing balance and is paid monthly into your Sidekick Wallet, rounded up to 2 decimal places. It applies up to a maximum balance of £120,000; above that, you’ll earn the standard rate only. The bonus rate is variable, and we may change it on the same basis as the standard rate under the terms for your product.

Your savings Bonus Rate applies for 6 months from your Qualifying Date (your Bonus Rate Period), unless it ends earlier; see “When It Ends Early” below.

You can earn up to £120 under this offer from new cash deposits or transfers from other Sidekick products. Once you’ve reached this, we won’t pay any more. It can only be earned on one qualifying product, not on additional accounts.

This bonus isn’t conditional on keeping a minimum ongoing balance. You can withdraw without losing it.

We built this offer for customers who genuinely want to manage their money with us. We can’t allow: referring yourself; teaming up with another customer to refer each other back and forth; moving money that’s already earned a bonus in and out to trigger it again; or sharing your code publicly. If something like this happens, we may withhold or claw back a bonus, or deactivate your code.

We intend to pay this bonus where you meet the conditions in these terms. However, we may withhold, withdraw or correct it, including reclaiming any amount already paid, if we reasonably believe:

Think something hasn’t been recorded properly? Let us know within 60 days of your qualifying activity. We won’t be able to pay out for an unverified claim after that.

We may withdraw this promotion at any time for new customers. If we do, it won’t affect any bonus we’ve already paid you, or any investment that already met the qualifying conditions before the change.

You can take part in this offer alongside other Sidekick promotions. Where you’re taking part in more than one at the same time, each promotion’s terms apply separately, and any maximum in this offer applies to this offer only.

If you’re taking part in more than one Sidekick promotion at the same time, each promotion’s terms apply separately unless we say otherwise. If there’s a conflict with Sidekick’s standard terms and conditions, the standard terms take priority, except where this promotion expressly says otherwise.

Sidekick’s standard terms and conditions continue to apply in full. They aren’t affected by this promotion.

We aren’t liable for delays, failures, or technical issues affecting this promotion, except where the law says otherwise. This doesn’t affect your right to complain through Sidekick’s complaints procedure, or to refer a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Your Multi Shield deposits may be held across up to 3 partner banks. You may be entitled to FSCS protection of up to £120,000 per eligible depositor per bank, providing potential protection of up to £360,000 in total. Please note that the Bonus Rate is generally subject to income tax and that, because it does not count as savings interest, the personal savings allowance does not apply.

If we make any Bonus Rate payments to you, this will be without withholding or deduction. It is up to you to calculate and pay what tax you owe on any Bonus Rate income you receive.

If we make a material change to this offer, or withdraw it early, that could reasonably affect a decision you’ve already made or are about to make, we’ll take reasonable steps to tell you before, or as soon as possible after, the change.
